Game On Eventing
Game On Eventing, owned by Amanda Quillin, is located in Newberry, Florida. Amanda is the head trainer and manager, also essential to GOE is Lindsey Blanchette who loyally runs the marketing for the farm. The farm owns five beautiful acres where there is access to grassy paddocks, three dry stalls, and a grass arena with lighting. The team at Game On Eventing is currently making the farm even better by updating the farm with new fencing, barn additions, and upgrading the paddocks. The farm houses not only personal horses, but consignment horses for those who are ready to sell. If you’re wanting to learn and grow, GOE also does lessons for boarders and people who trailer to their property.
The facility started as a passion for Amanda, she needed a place to keep her personal horses. After purchasing the property she realized that she had the ability to make the property profitable, thus “Game On Eventing” began. The business is now five years old and going strong. Game On Eventing is unique because it is the “island of misfit toys”. Amanda says each member of their team has survived hardships in their lives and through the help from each other and horses they have all grown stronger. Amanda and Lindsey are proud of the team that they have created, everyone is incredibly supportive of each other, but it’s not just the students! They have built a team that is supported by the students, but also their families. Most of their students participate in Pony Club and are encouraged to learn and grow with horses.
Game On Eventing serves the equine industry with boarding, training, lessons, personal sales, and consignment. I have personally hired them to sell my horse and was pleased with the care he received and the consignment process as a whole. Amanda runs a great lesson program with ages 10+, she takes advanced beginners through novice riders who compete in 3-Day Events. The team competes throughout Florida, as well as the Southeast region. Her students have had great success with Amanda as their trainer, specifically in 2018. 2018 was a big year for Game On Eventing, Amanda herself competed and completed the Hagyard Midsouth 3-Day Challenge which is a rigorous competition. Lindsey and a student qualified for the Schooling Show Championships at Chattahoochee Hills Eventing; Lindsey competed in the senior beginner novice, while their student competed in junior beginner novice winning her division. Also in 2018 Game On Eventing hosted their first Lucinda Green clinic at the Old Pear Tree Farm in Ocala, Florida. They intend on hosting the same clinic this fall (October, 2019), sign ups will be released in the coming months.
